Welcome to New Hope Church!
We are excited for your time spent on this website, and your hopeful visit to one of our events! Our group is small, and that is a wonderful thing: no one disappears into the woodwork; there is no crowd to be lost in. Each and every person gets to talk with the pastors and their wives, play with crazy little kids, and build deep friendships with fellow church-goers. But we are more than church-goers. We are a community of brothers and sisters who love God and love each other. Not that we are perfect: by no means! It is out recognition of our personal imperfections, our everyday failures that free us to serve each other, to build each other up.
If you are looking for discipleship, you will find it here. If you are looking for great friends, lots of fun things to do, and a (usually) available group of people to rescue you from the monotony of other parts of life, you will find it here. If you are looking for solid Biblical teaching, or an introduction to it, you will find it here. If you are looking for opportunities to be involved in service and fellowship, you will find it here. And if you are looking for post-church lunch with your new church family every week, you will find it here. Come! We want you!
On the other hand, if you just want to roll in and out on Sunday mornings, you are welcome, but be warned: we’ll try to befriend you, so you’d better be on your guard if you want to avoid new friends. If you are looking for super built-up programs to feed you without any effort on your part, remember that we are small; programs are created by the membership. If you want one, start one, and we’ll do whatever we can to support you.
To sum up:
We are a family seeking after God in all aspects of life, confronting failure, and celebrating success. We are close and welcoming, imperfect and striving, living and learning. We love people new and old. Come join us this Sunday!
